 Beer Flight

Schneider-Weisse – Kelheim, Germany
Cost: $10
5oz. pour of each

Edle-Weisse
In the US Georg Schneider's Weissen Edel-Weisse is overlooked when shadowed by the Original Hefe-Weizen and Aventinus. It is a gold colored Hefe-Weizen that pours with the immaculate trademark Schneider head that is always consistently beaded, plentiful, and long lasting. The scents emit a slightly bitter citrus and pine smell with an underlying yeastiness. 6.2% ABV

Hopfen-Weisse
This is collaboration between the Schneider Brewery and the Brooklyn Brewery of New York. This brew is made in more of the traditional style of Bavarian beer making with just a touch of American hops. 8.2% ABV

Adventinus
This is a very respected German dopplebock that pours a cloudy darkish chestnut brown color, with a white head that seems to grade from coarse bubbles at the bottom to fine bubbles at the top - it also lasts very well. The nose consists of sweetish spicy notes - cinnamon, cloves, banana and vanilla - underlain by a sort of leathery mustiness and a touch of chocolate. 8.0%ABV
