Wine Flight Two
Nugan Estate - Griffith,
Australia
Cost:
$15
3oz pour of each
Nugan estate came across our lips
a few weeks ago, and boy did they impress. All of these wines are grown on
their estate vineyards located in South Australia,
about 100 miles west of Sydney.
All of these wines are full-bodied and flavorful and are some of the best
values we have encountered lately. In the spirit of the beginning of college
football, we at the Twisted Vine say "Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi!

5am Saint Iconoclastic Amber
We live in a world of disposable deities. Someone, somehow has managed to
press that big, flashing moronic override button and we are hard wired straight
into the pockets of false idols trying to make a quick buck. Whatever...

Punk IPA
A beer of inherent contradiction. This heavy weight of the beer world is
strikingly delicate with a white gold appearance. The light fruity aroma
dominates the initial confrontation; lychee, kiwi and passion fruit all prevail
with subtle nuances of cherry and strawberry. Don’t be fooled however by this
smooth medium bodied ale. As it trickles down your throat as this wolf in
sheep’s clothing begins to grow teeth.

Hardcore IPA
This explicit ale has more
hops and bitterness that any other beer brewed in the UK. This is an
extreme beer rollercoaster for freaks, gypsies and international chess
superstars. 9.2% ABV
